內容簡介: 國立臺北科技大學建築系自2008年起，舉辦年度性的學生概念設計競圖，2010年則將規模擴及國際競圖。首屆以「橋」為主題，本次則以「牆」作為第二次關於建築本質的提問，從橋到牆，有著耐人尋味的關連性與對位關係。
本書中的牆競圖優秀作品，探討議題從生態的牆、節能的牆、永續循環的牆、科技的牆、心理的牆、國界的牆、邊境的牆以及歷史傷痕的牆等，呈現不同國家的年輕創作者對於「牆」獨特且深刻的觀點與設計理念；本書並摘錄評審論述過程，詳實地呈顯創作者與評論者間相互不同的觀點與立場，藉由重新檢視牆的意義，對建築核心價值提出反思與再詮釋。博客來網路書店From the inception of this annual student design competition in 2008， National Taipei University of Technology Department of Architecture has since broaden the scope beyond Taiwan， making this competition a proper platform for design students worldwide to partake in dialogues of various themes of architecture.?
